Take the Combat out of Compression

ActiveForever-logo

Have you ever tried to wrestle a bear?

Some would consider it a small feat compared to the daunting task of putting on compression stockings. You can pull and push, struggle and strategize, but those stockings are not going anywhere.

If you can relate, it’s time to give up the fight. The Jobst Stocking Donner from ActiveForever is perfect for anyone who wishes to continue to enjoy the benefits of improved circulation and comfort without the fuss. Remember: compression and combat are not a package deal. You do not have to struggle anymore.

The stocking aid from Jobst is affordable, portable, easy to store and is an especially ideal solution for anyone with limited strength and dexterity.

What Is Occupational Therapy?

In its simplest terms, occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants help people across their lifespan participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations). Common occupational therapy interventions include helping children with disabilities to participate fully in school and social situations, helping people recovering from injury to regain skills, and providing supports for older adults experiencing physical and cognitive changes. Occupational therapy services typically include:

  • an individualized evaluation, during which the client/family and occupational therapist determine the person’s goals,
  • customized intervention to improve the person’s ability to perform daily activities and reach the goals, and
  • an outcomes evaluation to ensure that the goals are being met and/or make changes to the intervention plan.
