What is your proudest moment professionally? “There’s no one single moment. I’ve enabled a large number of clients to over-achieve their professional goals. In return, they’ve become active philanthropists, making significant contributions to the world and setting great examples for others. That’s what makes me jump out of bed with a smile every morning.”

What is your current goal in life, and how will you reach it? “Having Independent Living Products recognized as the source of every federal, state, foundation and health care organization’s ability to extend quality, caring and cost-efficient health care products into the home and workplace of every patient.

“How will I reach it? Provide an unparalleled experience to people with special needs by working very hard and surrounding myself with extraordinary people.”

What is your favorite free-time activity? “Watching my children experiencing something interesting and fun for the first time, and listening to their thoughts. Writing, reading, playing with and hugging my husband not necessarily in that order.”

How do you define success? “Having a positive impact on people in every way possible, and making myself and others a nice return on investment in the process. Success is about freedom; the freedom of time to share with the people I love and to give back.”

How do you get through the difficult times in life? “I handle tough times from the altitude of 50,000 feet; I remove myself from the emotional core and put everything into perspective.”
