Our product management team continues to blow me away. I thought I’d talk about infomercial products, my favorite bath safety and independent living product, and a new mobility aid that knocked me over. You have to be careful when you’re ordering products from infomercials as many of them count on the hype to pull you in, and they count on the odds you will not bother returning it if you’re disappointed with it. Well, when we get sucked into infomercials, we’ll order the product and test it. This Light Relief product is one. They’ve since created an Extra Large Pad add on for it that offers a larger treatment surface. I injured my shoulder skiing and used the Light Relief, along with a can of peas, in hopes it would heal and allow me to hug people (including my husband and kids), lift groceries and resume my workout schedule. Well, it worked!!! It works!!! I had a very badly injured rotator cuff and it took about 5 months to heal. (Ask any PT about what I did with the can of peas.)
